Empowered caring: knowledge, health, and boundaries for stronger lives - Burwood

Caring for someone you love can be deeply meaningful, but it can also be overwhelming, isolating, and exhausting. This interactive workshop is designed to uplift, support, and empower carers with practical tools, emotional resilience, and a powerful sense of community.
 
Through guided discussions, practical strategies, shared experiences, added with a bit of fun, participants will learn how to navigate challenges with confidence and strengthen their wellbeing.
 
Whether you are new to the caring role or have been doing it for years, this workshop provides a safe, encouraging space to reconnect with your strengths and feel truly supported.
 
This workshop will cover topics such as:
  • What is empowerment?
  • Mapping my current situation
  • What are the areas I need to address
  • The importance of setting boundaries
  • Building boundaries a step by step process to address my own situation
  • Managing feelings of guilt
  • How to respond when those boundaries are breached
