Empowering Carers: Looking after your Wellbeing and Beyond – Miranda

Caring for others is meaningful and deeply human work, but it can also be demanding, isolating, and emotionally heavy. Many carers find themselves constantly giving, often at the cost of their own wellbeing. This workshop creates a gentle, supportive space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with your own strength, identity, and needs.
Rather than focusing only on surface‑level self‑care strategies, this program explores true self‑empowerment - understanding your value, strengthening your voice, and building confidence to navigate the challenges of caring roles.

Topics we will explore:
  • Understanding empowerment: What it is, what it is not, and how it shows up in everyday life.
  • Challenging negative self‑talk: Recognising unhelpful inner narratives and learning ways to shift them.
  • Setting goals and mapping my journey: Identifying what matters to you and creating a pathway forward.
  • Recognising and addressing barriers: Exploring emotional, practical, cultural, and systemic challenges.
Light Lunch is provided.
Transport is not provided.
