Mary MacKillop Place
A sacred place of welcome, enjoy a visit and a bit of quiet contemplation at Mary MacKillop Place which celebrates the life and work of Mary MacKillop, Australia’s first saint. See her vision that all children ‘have the right to equitable education, a happy childhood, to laughter, to play, and to creativity and learning’ in practice. The visit is self-guided of both the Memorial Chapel and the Museum with a lovely relax in the on-site cafe where all proceeds go towards the continued upkeep of the Chapel and grounds and assists those in need in the local community.
