Methods for Cultivating Life Satisfaction, Self-Worth and Happiness

Caring for others can come at the cost of our own wellbeing. This online workshop, informed by Luke Egan of Neuroscience Research Australia, will introduce you to key concepts from positive psychology, a scientific approach to understanding what makes life worth living. Learn about the different forms of happiness (hedonia, eudaimonia, flow) and explore how subjective wellbeing differs from deeper psychological flourishing.

Grounded in the latest neuroscience and research, the session offers practical, evidence-based techniques to boost positive emotion, meaning, and life satisfaction. You will gain tools to cultivate gratitude, mindfulness, purpose, and goal clarity, while learning how to sustain wellbeing in the face of life’s demands and avoid the trap of the "hedonic treadmill".
