Sound Reset Workshop - Music for the Tough Days – Hurstville

Caring for a loved one can be rewarding, but often comes with emotional fatigue, stress, and very little time to recharge. This practical and uplifting workshop explores how music can become an accessible self-care tool, even for people who do not consider themselves musical. Guided by registered music therapist Lucy Morgan, you will learn how music can shift stress hormones, regulate the nervous system, and activate “feel-good” chemicals like dopamine and oxytocin. Discover how to use rhythm, voice, sound and playlists to reset your mood, reduce anxiety and cultivate moments of calm in your everyday life. All you need is curiosity and a willingness to listen. A light lunch will be provided.
