Sweet Stories of Country: A First Nations Chocolate Experience - Wollongong

Indulge in a unique and immersive NAIDOC Week experience with Chocolate on Purpose, where culture, storytelling, and native flavours come together in a celebration of First Nations knowledge, enterprise, and connection. Through guided chocolate tastings and interactive flavour-pairing activities, participants will discover the rich cultural significance of native bush ingredients such as wattleseed, lemon myrtle, and Davidson plum, while learning how these flavours connect to Country, history, and tradition.

More than just a tasting experience, this event creates a meaningful opportunity for carers to connect, yarn, and engage in conversations that celebrate Indigenous culture, resilience, and innovation in a warm and welcoming environment. Participants will gain insight into contemporary First Nations business and food practices while enjoying a unique sensory and cultural journey designed to foster reflection, connection, and community.
